Senecio peregrinus, commonly known as String of Dolphins, is a captivating and unique succulent plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. This plant is adored for its fascinating foliage, which resembles a pod of leaping dolphins, making it a delightful addition to any succulent collection or hanging planter.
The String of Dolphins features trailing stems that cascade downwards, allowing it to beautifully drape over the edges of pots or hanging baskets. The leaves are the highlight of this plant, as they are shaped like miniature dolphins leaping out of the water. Each leaf has a curved, elongated shape with pointed ends, reminiscent of the graceful motion of dolphins in mid-air.
